GPS discovery has been designed and developed by me...Simon Mauger.  Here's my story about how GPS discovery came to be!

After many years of touring as a child and then later with my own family, I pondered how it would be possible to gain the best possible tourist experience seeing all the sites and attractions available whilst on holiday.  I was tired of collecting pamphlets - they were usually poorly presented, the maps were incorrect or difficult to read and the information was often static and long winded.  I realised that by far the best experience would  have to be on a tour being directed by a local, telling me where to drive as well as explaining the attractions.  Well....so I thought!

It wasn't until GPS hardware technology advanced to a level that I considered combining this local knowledge and technology to create a very unique tourism experience that we know today as GPS Touring.  GPS discovery now offers a range of GPS guided tours using local knowledge to generate entertaining with rich multimedia experiences.
